Geoffry de Chedle, son of Geoffrey de Dutton, as seneschal of John Lacy, his grandfather, 1232-1240. His name shows up with the release of Swanus, a villain of Clifton, to Geoffry de Dutton, the son of Adam de Dutton, and witnesses the grant of an oratory at Sutton juxta Frodsham.
