Guillume García is named as the son of García Sánchez in the Cartulary of Auch[and in the Codex de Roda, the former specifying that he inherited Fezensac from his father. Monlezun names "Guillaume" as second of the three sons of Garcia, specifying that he succeeded his father in "Fezensac, réuni alors à l'Armagnac."
