He was present at the Battle of Val-es-Dunes, in 1047. He was the son of Anschitil who was living 1031, Vicomté de Bessin. ¹⁶⁰

Randulf married Alix de Normandy, daughter of Richard III Duc de Normandy and "Mistress of Richard III de Normandy." (Alix de Normandy was born about 1021 in Normandy.)
