Christopher Lyster, of Midhope, died sometime before 17 Apr 1509, when an Inquisition was taken at Clitheroe it was found that certain lands in the Manor of Colne reverted to the Crown by his death. He married sometime before 20 Sep 1467 (the settlement date was 20 Jun 1467) Joane Calverley, daughter of Sir William Calverley of Calverley, Knight, by Agnes his wife, as well as the daughter of Sir John Tempest of Bracewell.
