Sir John D'Oyly, Knight, succeeded to his mother's estates at Rauton and elsewhere, and dying about 7 Edward II, left issue by his first wife, Joan, daughter of Sir Robert de Knightley, of Knightley, Knight, and elder son, another Sir John d'Oyly, knight, who was of Stoke, near Oundle, Northampton, in right of his wife Alice, daughter and heiress of Stoke.
