William de Mohun, seein in 1142 and dead in 1176, held the barony of Dunster, Somerset. He married Godehut de Toeni who died before 1186, and was the daughter of Roger III de Toeni, lord of Flamstead, Hertfordshire, by his wife, Ida de Hainaut, daughter of Baldwin III, Count of Hainaut. Godehut's maritagium, the manor of Brinkley, Cambridge, shows her identity to be Toeni. This manor came into possession of the Toeni family upon the marriage of Godeheut's grandmother Alice of Northumberland to Ralph IV de Toeni.
