Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Orabilis was the daughter of Ness who was the son of William of Leuchars. Ness is given as the son of William in undated charters of St. Andrew's priory. Orabella was named in similar undated chaters. ""Nesius filius Willi et Orabile filia sua heres" donated "ecclesiam de Losresc" to St Andrew's priory by undated charter [St Andrew's Priory, p. 254]. Her first marriage is confirmed by the undated charter under which her son "Seherus de Quency comes Wintonie" donated "totam terram de Duglyn", held by "Nesus filius Willelmi avus meus" to Cambuskenneth priory[Fraser, W. (ed.) (1872) Registrum Monasterii S. Marie de Cambuskenneth (Edinburgh) ("Cambuskenneth"), 70, p. 92]."

Orabella married Robert de Quincy Lord of Buckley & Fawside, son of Saher de Quincy and Maud de St. Liz Lady Bradham. (Robert de Quincy Lord of Buckley & Fawside was born about 1100 in Winchester, Hampshire, England and died about 1192-1198 in Leuchars, Fifes, Scotland.)
