Very little is know about Ecgwynn (Ĉdgyfu). Some sources consider her to be a concubine rather than a wife.

Many of these old English names have a wide varity of spellings. I've seen Edgifu divided into two wifes, the second being Ecgwy. I've also seen Edifu's other names as Ecgwyn, Edgiva and even Ĉdgifu.
