• Background Information. 141
Amauri de St. Amand
, son and heir, did homage, 20 Feb 1255/6. He was summoned for service in Wales, 1257, and later, to 1283. In 1261 and 1264, he was summoned to London and to Oxford, to the King's support cum equis et armis. He was summoned again in 1283, this time to the Assembly at Shrewsbury, which does not rank as a Parliament. He possibly married the Isabel de St. Amand to whom timbers was given in Savemake Forest in 1268, and he may have died in the autumn 1285.
