In 4 Henry V, dame Elizabeth Boteler, the widow of Sir William le Boteler who died in Harleur, France, had her dower assigned her out of her late husband's estates; and before the next year had taken a second lord, William de Ferrars of Groby. She was fined for having a marriage without a license from the king. She died in 1440, leaving her second husband surviving.

Elizabeth Standish was child of Sir Robert and Isolda de Standish. She first married John de Wrottesley and second, Sir William le Boteler of Bewsey, K.B., who died at Harfleur on 26 Sep 1415. He was Baron of Warrington, Knight of Bath in 1399, a member of Parliament and the son of Sir John Boteler of Bewsey in Warrington and Alice de Plumpton.
