Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Berthe de Bourgogne was the daughter of Conrad King of Burgundy and his second wife, Mathilde de Francs, daughter of Louis IV, King of the Franks. She married, first, Eudes I comté de Blois, son of Thibaut I "le Tricheur" comté de Blois and Luitgardis Vermandois. Her second married, to Robert II King of France, ended in divorce due to consanguinity. "The Liber Modernorum Regum Francorum names "Berta filia Conradi regis Burgundiæ" as wife of "Odone comite Carnotensium" [Hugonis Floriacensis, Liber qui Modernorum Regum Francorum continet Actus 9, MGH SS IX, p. 387. ]. Richer records that King Robert married "Berta Odonis uxor" [Richer, IV, supplementary notes following CVII, p. 308].

Bertha married Eudes I Comte de Blois, son of Thibaud "le Tricheur" Comte de Blois Seigneur de Montagu and Luitgarde de Vermandois.¹⁶⁰ (Eudes I Comte de Blois was born about 950 in Mormontier, France,¹⁸⁰ died on 12 Mar 996 in Mormontier, France ^160,180 and was buried in Abbaye de Saint-Martin, Marmoutier.)
