Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Luitgardis was the daughter of Heribert II and his wife Adela, daughter of Robert Marquis en Neustrie, comté de Paris, and King of France. Her first husband was Guillaume I comté de Normandie. Her second husband was Thibaut II "le Tricheur" comté de Blois. "Rodulfus Glauber refers to the wife of Comte Guillaume as "sororem (Heribertum Trecorum comitem)", specifying that she was childless by her first husband, when recording her second marriage to "Tetbaldus" [Rodulfi Glabri, Historiarum III.39, p. 165]. Guillaume of Jumičges records the marriage of "Normannorum Dux" and "Herbertus...filiam suam", encouraged by "Hugone Magno", after the marriage of Guillaume's sister Gerloc [236]. The Liber Modernorum Regum Francorum refers to the wife of "Tetbaudi comitis" as "sorore Herberti Trecorum comitis" [Willelmi Gemmetencis Historić (Duchesne, 1619), Liber III, III, p. 234]. Luitgarde next married Guillaume "Longue Épée" de Normandy Princeps Nortmannorum, son of Hrolf "Ganger" Rognvaldsson Princeps Nortmannorum and "Poppa" de Bayeux. (Guillaume "Longue Épée" de Normandy Princeps Nortmannorum was born about 891 in one of the islands held by Vikings 160 and died on 17 Dec 942 in Normandy 160.)
