Arnoul de Montogommery married Lafracoth of Munster, daughter of Murtach o'Brien, King of Munter. Lafracoth is named daughter "of an Irish king named Murchertach" by Orderic Vitalis [ Orderic Vitalis (Chibnall), Vol. VI, Book XI, p, 31]. The Annals of Inisfallen record that "Muirchertach Ua Briain made a marriage alliance with the French and with Norsemen" in 1102. [Seán Mac Airt (ed.) Lafacroth married Arnulf de Montgomery, son of Roger de Montgomery et Vicomté de Hiémois and Mabel de Bellêsme Dame d'Alençon, in 1102 in Dublin, Ireland. (Arnulf de Montgomery was born circa 1066 in Normandy and died after 1119 in Munster, Ireland.)
