William Mainwaring of Over-Peover, was the heir to his grandfather, also named William. His parents were Roger Mainwaring and Christian Birtles. He married Mary, daughter of Henry Davenport, and they had a son named William, and a son named Roger. Their daughters were Margery and Millicent, all living in 1334. William died about 12 or 13 Edward III.
