They also show "Avice, daughter and heire of Walking" married to this generation rather than having her married later to Sir Robert Savage as shown in The Ancient and Noble Family of the Savages of the Ards, p. 15. 527

Sir Geffrey le Savage1, of Stainesby, was succeeded in the lordship of Stainesby by his son, John Savage2, of Stainesby, living in 1208, who was father of John Savage3 the ancestor of the Savages, Earls Rivers, the Savages of Elmley Castle and the Savages of Tetbury. This John Savage3 was the brother of Sir Roger Savage of the Kent Branch of Savages.

3 of Stainesby was succeeded by his first son, also named John Savage4 who married Agatha, daughter and heiress of Henry St. Andrews, by whom he had a son, Sir Thomas Savage5, of Stainesby, Knight, living 29 Edward I (1300/1). Sir Thomas Savage5 was succeed by his son Sir Robert Savage6, of Stainesby, Knight, 41 Edward III (1367/8) who married Amicia, daughter of Sir Thomas Walkington, by whom he had a son and successor, Sir John Savage7 married To Margaret the daughter of Sir Thomas Danyers.
