He married, Isabel or Elizabeth Vermandois, One of their children was named Gundred or Gundreda, who married, first Roger, earl of Warrick, and then to William Fitz Gilbert, who assumed the name "of Lancaster." Gundreda and William Fitz Gilbert had a son named William de Lancaster.
