Hugh Fitz Eon, who was always stlyed "Hugho filius Eudonis" in the Kirkstead Cartulary, was the son and heir of Eudo, and succeeded to Tattershall no later than 1118. He founded Kirkstead Abbey in Lincolnshire in 1139, and he made grants to Kirkstead Abbey with the consent of his son Robert, somtime around 1140-50. Hugh had died sometime before 1166.
