Sara de Chesney Lady of Colne

~Cokayne's Complete Peerage, 2nd Edition, (Appendix J), Vol. X, p. 117, Sara married to Richard Engaine, was one of the three daughters and coheirs of William de Chesney, also known as de Norwich, from his office of Sheriff of Norfolk.

~Cokayne's Complete Peerage, 2nd Edition, (Engaine Pedigree Chart), Vol. V, after p. 72, Married to Richard Engaine, and the daughter of William de Chesney, or Horsford and Colne. She was dead in Apr 1222. ¹⁴¹

Sara married Richard d’Engaine, son of Richard d’Engaine and Margery Fitz Urse.¹⁴¹ (Richard d’Engaine was born about 1160 in Blatherwycke, Northamptonshire, England and died on 23 Apr 1209 in Colne Engaine, Essex, England ¹⁴¹.)
