Eudo la Zouche died between 28 Apr - 25 Jun 1279 and married before 13 Dec 1273, Millicent de Cantelou who died shortly before 7 Jan 1298/99. Millicent was widow of John de Mohaut, sister and coheir of George de Cuntelo, Lord of Abergavenny, and daughter of Sir Willima de Cauntelo, of Calne, Wiltshire and Aston Cantlow, Warwickshire, by Eve, the third daughter and co-heir of William de Braiose, Lord of Abergavenny. As a widow, Milicent obtained as her property the manors of Harringworth and Bulwick in Northamptonshire, Totnes in Deveonshire, and estates in Bedfordshire, Somersetshire and Wiltshire.

Eudo la Zouche was summoned to Windsor with horses and arms, 17 Oct 1263 in support of the Crown in the Barons' War, 1264/65, for which he was paid 10 Mar 1266/67, 80 marks from Essex and Hertfordshire for expenses in subduing rebels in those counties. He was then of the King's household. He had livery of his wife's lands in England and Ireland in 1273-75. He was called to Parliament in Westminster, 19 May 1275. He served in Wales in 1277 and in Ireland in 1279.
