- "ES III(3) 593 says that Odalric Manfred m. Bertha dau. of the margrave Otbert of the family of the 'Otbertiner'.
The Otbertings were the source family for that of Este. It is highly likely that Bertha was the daughter of Otbert II (son of Otbert I) and sister of Adalbert Azzo I." ¹¹⁶

Bertha married Ulric-Manfred II Marquis di Suza e di Turin, son of Olderico Manfredo II Marquis di Torino and Prangilda de Modena. (Ulric-Manfred II Marquis di Suza e di Turin was born about 978, died about 1035 and was buried in Turin Cathedral.)
