Marcos Sónchez Vergara, single, the legitimate son of Ygnacio Sánchez Vergara and Gabriela Aragón (both deceased), citizens of los Corrales. Marcelina Aragón, the widow of Salvdor García, the legitimate daughter of Fernando Aragón and Encarnación Váldez, citizens and residents of Corrales. Mariano Armijo, 28, married, citizen and resident of Alburquerque
José Lucero, 30, married, citizen and resident of Alburquerque

Father Fernando Ortiz forwarded the proceeding to Durango on 23 Jul 1842. On 8 Nov 1842, the governor of the dioceses, José Tomás Rivera, acting for Bishop Zubiría, granted dispensation and assigned as penance that the couple would recite nine Stations of the Cross and nine rosaries of five mysteries. He ordered the priest in Sandía to proclaim the banns. Assuming new impediments arose, he was to marry the couple after they prepared themselves by going to confession. A note from Father Fernando Ortiz dated 27 Aug 1842, states that the money for the dispensation was being sent with Mariano Chaves to Bishop Zubiría.
