Sir Roger la Zouche, knight, married sometime before 1267, Ela, the daughter of Stephen Longespée, sometime Seneschal of Gascony and Justiciar of Ireland as well as the third son of William Longespée, Earl of Salisbury and his wife Emeline, widow of Hugh de Lacy, Earl of Ulster, and daughter and coheir of Walter de Riddelisford, lord of Bray. Emeline died before 19 Jul 1276 and Sir Roger died shortly before 15 Oct 1285.
