Sometime around the year 1740, Juan Bautista Durán had married Antonia Mestas, daughter of Ventura Mestas and Catalina Jurado, by whom he had two daughters, Tomasa, born 31 Jan 1741; and María Guadalupe, 6 Feb 1744.
