Sir William Hellesby, knight, lord of Hellesby, son and heir was married before 31 Edward I to Hawise, daughter of Sir Wiliam Trusell of Trussell Martston, Northamptonshire. Sir William was a Crusader and died sometimes after 1332. Children of Sir William and Hawise given by Ormerod were:

Lucy, daughter and coheir, wife of Sir Piers de Thorneton.
Alice, daughter and coheir, wife of Sir ______ de Beston, married a second time to Ralph de Vernon.
