(2) Erneburga, wife of Richard de Preston [Feet of Fines, Westmorland, 10 John, no. 30; Coucher Book of Furness, Chetham Soc., pt. II, p.94] Their son Richard married Amabel de Strickland and was an ancestor of the Prestons of Preston Richard, co. Westmorland. (3) Isabel, wife of Thomas fitz John [Wilson, St. Bees, Surtees Soc., pp. 538-9] (4) A daugther who married Patrick de Borwick, of Borwick in Warton, Lancashire, and mother of Adam Borwick, from whom descended the Borwicks and Whittingtons of Borwick Hall.
