John Lovel, Lord Lovel, son and heir by 2nd wife, aged 22 at his father's death. In 1302 he had been put in possession of the manor of Titchmarsh. He had livery of his lands 15 December 1310, and the King pardoned the relief due from him. He was summoned to Parliament from 16 June 1311 until his death.

John Lovel married Maud, eventually heir of her brother, Edward Burnell and daughter of Sir Philip Burnell of Acton Burnell, by Maud, sister of Richard Fitz Alan, Earl of Arundel, and daughter of John Fitz Alan. Maud was aged 25 in 1315. John Lovel died 24 June 1314, being killed at Bannockburn. His widow, Maud, was suing for her dower in February 1314/5. She married, before 4 Dember 1315, and without the King's licence, Sir Johnde Haudlo, who died 5 August 1346. Maud died before 17 May 1341.
