Godebert the Fleming of Ros in 1130 was paying to have certain lands in co. Pembroke. Godebert is presumably one of the Flemings who settled in Pembrokeshire under Henry I.

Godebert, "a Fleming of Roose," held lands in that district in 1131, formerly held by Lambert Echiner. Godbert had two sons, Richard and Rodbert who took part in the Irish expecitions.
