John Astley of Hilmoton and Melton Constable in Norffolke, esquire, sonne and heire of Thomas of the same, married Elizabeth, daughter to Wichingham of Norffolke.


~The Visitations of Essex, p.138, Thomas Astley of Hilmorton in Norffolke, son and heire of Thomas of the same, married as his first wife Isabell daughter to Jefforey Oke. Thomas married as his sceond wife, Elizabeth, daughter of Darces., the Visitation of Essex shows Elizabeth Darces as the mother of of his son and heir, John Astley. Collin's Baronetage gives his first wife, Isabella Oke as John's mother. ^{678,1175,1180}
