Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Adelais daghter of Adalhard comté de Paris and sister to Vulfard, sororius of King Louis II. "Regino names "Adalheidis" second wife of "Hludowicus rex filius Caroli", married after he repudiated his first wife [Reginonis Chronicon 878, MGH SS I, p. 589]. Her paternity is indicated by Wulfhard (who would have been the brother of Adelais) being named sororius of King Louis II [Settipani (1993), p. 316 footnote 857].


Adélaide married Louis II Roi des Francs, son of Charles II "le Chauve" Carolingien King of the West Franks, Holy Roman Emperor and Ermentrude de Orléans, in 868-870 in France 160.,528 (Louis II Roi des Francs was born in France and died on 10 Apr 879 in Compiegne 528.)
