Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands Conrad son of Rudolf II, King of Upper Burgundy and Bertha of Swabia. "He is named "Chuonradus rex filio Rodulfi" in his charter dated 23 Apr 943 [Cluny, Tome I, 627, p. 584]." Conrad maried a woman of unknown origin named Adelande. His second wife was Mathilde of France, the daughter of Louis IV "d'Outremer" King of the Franks and his wife Gerberga of Germany, who was the mother of Berthe, Mathilde and Gerberga. "The Chronicle of Alberic de Trois-Fontaines records the marriage of "rex Francorum Lotharius…sororem suam Mathildem" and "Conradus rex Burgundie" [Chronica Albrici Monachi Trium Fontium 986, MGH SS XXIII, p. 773.]. The Aymari Rivalli De Allobrogibus records the death "XIV Kal Nov" of "regis Conradi" and his burial at Vienne [De Allobrogibus VI, p. 382]."

Konrad married Mathilda Princesse des Francs, daughter of Louis "Outremer" Roi des Francs and Gerberge of Saxony Princess of the Germans Queen of Frane. (Mathilda Princesse des Francs died on 26 Jan 981-982.)
