Willim of Champagne, eldest son of Stephen II, count of Blois and his wife Adela, daughter of William the Conqueror and Matilda of Flanders. He did not succeed his fahter because he was considered unfit to rule . William married Agnes, daughter and heiress of Giles de Sully and his wife, Eldeburge, sister of Étienne, vicomté de Bourges. The children of William and Agnes were:
