Sir Richard de Vernon, knight, age 20, 4 Henry V, ob. 3 Sep 1419, married by dispensation, 1408, Eleanor, daughter of Sir Hugh de Holes. Sir Richard was the son of Sir Richard de Vernon and his 1st wife, Alice. Sir Richard, the younger, died in France leaving issue, Joan, who was age 3 years in 8 Henry V, who became the wife of Sir Richard Fulshurst, who contested Shipbrook with James Vernon. Sir Richard's wife remarried after the death of Sir Richard to Richard de Whelok. Her inq. p.m. was 14 Edward IV.
