My father gave me her name as Rita García y Romero. According to Origins of NM Families, page 234, García was given to her by the man, Tomás García, who raised her father, Nicolás Montaño García.
I found her name as both Rita García and Rita Romero in the NM Marriages and Baptisms, San Augustin de la Isleta Church. As a parent, she used Rita García, but in her marriage record on page 15 she used Rita Romero. 3,31,34,46,252
