Hugues married Hildegarde (Aldearde) de Thouars, daughter of Aimery vicomté de Thourars and his first wife Orengarde de Mauléon. "Ugo Liziniacensis…contra Saracenos in Hispaniam iturus" donated "terram de Faiduneino" to Nouaillé, with the consent of "uxore mea Aldearde et filiis meis Ugone Bruno atque Rorgone", by charter dated to (1077/91) [Nouaillé, 157, p. 248]. "Herbertus...Toarcensis vicecomes...et frater meus Gaufridus" confirmed donations by "patris mei Aimerici vicecomitis" to Chaise-le-Vicomte by charter dated 7 Dec 1099, which records donations made by "Hildegardis uxor domni Hugonis de Liziniaco" for the love of "patris sui vicecomitis Aimerici" [Bas-Poitou (1877), XV, p. 20].


Ildegarde married Hughes "Le Diable" de Lusignan, son of Hughes "le Pieux" de Lusignan and Almodis comtesse de la Marche.160 (Hughes "Le Diable" de Lusignan was born about 1039 in Lusignan, Vienne, Poitou and died in 1106-1110 in France 160.)
