He succeeded, in 858, as García II Jiménez King of Pamplona. The Codex de Roda names his first wife and their children Íñigo and Sancha, and his second wife and their children Sancho and Jimeno. ~Codex de Roda, c. 10, quoted in Settipani (2004), p. 99

García's first wife was Oneca Rebelle de Sangüesa [Sancossa] . She is named as the first wife of King García in the Codex de Roda. ~Codex de Roda, c. 10, quoted in Settipani (2004), p. 99

García's second wife was Dadildis de Pallars, sister of Raimundo I Conde de Pallars. She is named as the second wife of King García in the Codex de Roda, which also names her brother. ~ ~Codex de Roda, c. 10, quoted in Settipani (2004), p. 99
