-Weis' "Ancestral Roots. . ." (141:18), (142:17), calls him Dietrich, of Saxon-Hamelant. "Theodoric" is the English equivalent of Dietrich.
-Stuart's "Royalty For Commoners" (32:35), (65:41), (310:37), (338:37). If Stuart is correct, then DIETRICH married first GISELA, widow of GODEFRID, and then RAGNHILDE, his stepdaughter, daughter of GISELA and GODEFRID. Stuart identifies all the children but MATILDA and possibly LAMBERT as born to RAGNHILDE. ¹¹⁶

Dietrich married Reginhilde von Friesland Countess of Ringleheim, daughter of Gottfried and Matilda. (Reginhilde von Friesland Countess of Ringleheim was born about 858 in Germany and died in 917.)

Dietrich next married Gisela de Lorraine, daughter of Lothaire Roi de Lorraine and (Madame) Waldrada *de Lorraine. (Gisela de Lorraine was born in 860-865 and died before 26 Oct 907.)
