Robert de Torigny names "Aeliz" as the daughter of Duke Robert II "de alia concubina" from Herleve [227]. She retained the title Comtesse d'Aumâle after her first marriage. The foundation charter of Saint-Martin d´Auchy names "Engueranni consulis qui filius fuit Berte supradicti Guerinfridi filie et Adelidis comitisse uxoris sue sororis…Willelmi Regis Anglorum" [228]. Her second marriage is deduced from the same charter of Saint-Martin d´Auchy which also names "Judita comitissa domine supradicte filia"[229]. Orderic Vitalis calls her "the king's sister" when referring to her marriage to Eudes Comte de Troyes [230]. She married, as her first husband, Enguerrand II comte de Montreuil, son of Hugues de Ponthieu comte de Montreuil and his wife Berthe d'Aumale. Her second husband was Lambert de Boulogne, comte de Lens, son of Eustache comte de Boulogne and his wife Mathilde de Louaine. Adeliza's third husband was Eudes III comte de Troyes et d'Aumale, son of Etienne I comte de troyes and his wife Adela.

Adeliza married Lambert Comte de Lens et Artois, son of Eustace I Comte de Boulogne and Maud de Louvain.529 (Lambert Comte de Lens et Artois was born in Lens, Normandy, France and died in 1054 in Battle of Lille, Phalampin, France 529.)

Adeliza next married Enguerran comte de Montreüil, son of Hugues II comte de Montreüil and Bertha d' Aumâle.

Adeliza next married Eudes comté de Champagne et Aumale, son of Étienne comté de Champagne and Adela. (Eudes comté de Champagne et Aumale was born about 1037 in Champagne, France and died after 1115.)
