Diego Antonio Torres, 22, single, legitimate son of José Torres, a citizen of the Alburquerque jurisdiction, and the late Manuela de Luna. María Encarnación Márquez, 19, single, acitizen of the Alburquerque jurisdiction, legitimate daughter of José Márquez and Petra Iturrieta. The couple was related in the third degree of consanguinity on a transverse line.

Father Alvarez questioned Diego Antonio who stated that he wishedtoput anend to the scandal that had occured becausehe had carnal knowledge of María Encarnación. He added that he was a life-long resident of the Belén jurisdiction and that he had his father's permission to marry.

Witnesses:
Dionisio Trujillo, 60, parishioner of Belén, statedthat María Encarnación Márquez had given birth to a child, whichwas acknowledged by Antonio Torres and that both parties had the permission of their parents to marry.
