Juan Alonso Mondragón and his wife, Sebastiana Trujillo, or Martín, were living in the Pojoaque area in 1715. He was twenty-eight years old. In 1719 he said that he was forty-four, a native of New Mexico, and a resident of Santa Cruz.

Known children of theirs were: Juana, born February 30, 1711; Catalina (perhaps) mentioned with Juan Alonso in 1719; Francisco Xavier, born September 20, 1721; and Salvador, mentioned with his mother, February 2, 1742. Very likely another daughter was a María de Mondragon, wife of Miguel Carrillo.
