Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands, Menendo González and his wife Toda were the parents of Ramiro Menéndez who was in turn the father of Ordońo Ramírez. Ramiro Menéndez settled in Portugal and married Toda Vélaz, daughter of Vela Ińíguez and his wife [Pérez de Urbel (1969/70), J. 'Jimenos y Velas en Portugal', RPH 5 (1951), p. 488].
