Sancha Fernández

  General Notes:

There is some debate about which of Froila Ramírez's wives was the mother of his children. His first wife was Urraca González, daughter of Gonzalo Fernández and granddaughter of Fernando Pérez of the House of Traba. His second wife was Sancha Fernández, daughter of Fernando Arias and Teresa Bermúndez, a daughter of conde Bermudo Pérez de Traba. Both Froila and Sancha were descendants of Conde Pedro Fróilaz. Charles Cawley's Medieval Lands gives the children of Urraca González was the mother of Nuño Fróilaz and Sancha Fernández was the mother six other children including María Fróilaz.
