"The Nobiliario of Pedro Conde de Barcelos records that "Tel Perez de Meneses" married "Urraca Garcia Dorca"[Pedro Barcelos, Tit. XXI, Tellez i Meneses, 1, p. 124]. The contract for the marriage of "Tello Petriz… Gontrodo Garciaz mox futura coniux" is dated 22 Jan 1161 and granted her "meas hereitates…Meneses…"[Salcedo ´Vida de Don Tello Téllez de Meneses´, pp. 96-8, including a facsimile of the original document, and Appendice I, p. 247]. "Urraca Gutierrez...cum filiis meis..." sold "hereditate in Aradoi in villa...Fonte Aruan" to "Tellus Petriz et ad uxor tua Gontrodo Garciaz" by charter dated 17 Nov 1177 [Trianos Santa María, 11, p. 22]."
