Antonio de Moya and Francisca Antonia Morales (a.k.a. Francisca Antonia de Guijosa) were the progenitors of the Moya name in New Mexico. Francisca was an orphan born in Mexico City. Antonio de Moya was baptized at the Catedral de Méjico on 31 July 1670, son of Juan Moreno and María de Moya.
