7 Feb 1717, Santa Cruz. Antono Martín (23), native of New Mexico, son of Hernando Martín and María Montaño, natives of New Mexico living in Chimayo, and Gertrudis Sánchez (27) of Santa Fé, widow of Cristóbal Maese, daughter of Felipe Sánchez and Olaya Oton living in Santa Fé.

Witnesses: Miguel de Quintana, notary; Maese de Campo Roque de Madrid (60), Sebastian Durán (39), Juan Alfonso Mondragon, and Lazaro de Cordova (25), all natives of New Mexico and married; Juan Marín (23), native of New Mexico who, without being summoned, declares that he is the groom's first cousin and that he had relations with the bride; Francisco Martín (50), father of the above Juan Martín and uncle of the groom, says that he did also; Diego Martín (28), a cousin of the groom, says likewise. At Santa Fe, the Padre Custodio decides that the bride should be charitably told to await the resolution of the case.

Gertrudis next married Cayetano José Moya, son of Antonio de Moya and Francisca Antonia Morales de Guijosa, in 1727-1728 in Villa de Santa Fé, Nuevo Méjico, Nueva España.²⁴⁸
