Juan Lorenzo Valdes married Josefa de Salazar at Santa Cruz on May 2, 1729. With Ignacio and Rosalia Valdeés he was sued by Torres people regarding some land in Rio Arriba. This Rosalía could well be the Rosa Valdes who acted as a sponsor with her son, Juan Valdes, on January 7, 1739, and was very likely a sister to Juan Lorenzo and the others.
