Florencio Felis Padilla's padrinos at his baptism were Santiago Chaves and Antonia Baca. He married María Francisca Valdéz, daughter of José Valdéz & María Gertrudis Chaves, 18 Jan 1818, at Sandía. María Francisca Valdéz was baptized 25 Jan 1804 at Sandía and her padrinos were Pedro Valdéz and Gertrudis Salazar. She married as her second husband, Diego Aguirre, 22 Oct 1823, at Isleta. Diego was the widower of María de la Luz Carillo, and Francisco was the widow of Florencio Padilla. The couple received a dispensation to marry because they were related.
