Arnold II was a minor at the death of his grandfather. He first married Ogive, daughter of Frederic, count of Luxembourg. His second wife was Eleonore, daughter of richard III, duke of Normandy, who left no legal sons. His son was Baldwin V.

Baudouin married Ogive of Luxembourg, daughter of Fredick I Count of Luxembourg and Ermentrude of Gleiberg, about 1012. (Ogive of Luxembourg was born about 995 and died on 21 Feb 1030.)

Baudouin next married Aliénor Comtesse de Normandie, daughter of Richard II "The Good" Duc de Normandie and Judith de Rennes of Brittany. (Aliénor Comtesse de Normandie was born about 1007 in Normandy, France and died after 1040 in France.)
