Francisco de Armijo, born circa 1565 in Sevilla, Andalucia, Spain, married Guiomar de Orozco around 1585 in Sevilla. A listing of passengers coming from Spain to the West Indies betwee 1586-1599 [Archivo General de Indias, Sevilla, Españia, Catalogo de Pasajeros a Indias Durante los Siglos XVI, XVII y XVIII, Vol. VII (1598-1599) por María del Carmen Gulbis Diez: A Listing of Passengers to the West Indies From Spain] stated that Francisco de Armijo came into New Spain in 1590 as a merchant for three years, that he was from Sevilla, Andalucia, Spain, was married, and was the son of Atón Armijo and María de Madrid. Francisco came a second time and brought his wife Guiomar de Orozco and their four children: María, Benita, Antonio and Ursula de Armijo.
