Juan Páez Hurtado, for the purpose included in his excellency's directions, brought to the royal accounting house José López, mestizo, a native of the Villa de Los Lagos, forty-seven, average height, straight black hair, dark-skinned, married to María de Osuna, española, forty, with a child named María de la Encarnación, five. He received 300 pesos in reals from the hands of the lord judges and treasury officials, to which I attest. The lords and the Captain signed it.
