Antonio Modesto García Jurado was born abt 1700 and was the son of Ramón García Jurado and doña Juana Antonia de Esíndola. He married, 31 Dec 1725, in Bernalillo, New Mexico, Valentina Baca, a resident of Bernalillo whose parents weren't recorded.

11 Dec 1725, Modesto García Jurado, 25, more or less, a resident of this villa de San Phelipe de Alburquerque, son of Alferes Ramón Garsía Jurado, a native of Mexico City, and doñ Antonia de Espinola, a native of the said villa, deceased, with Valentina Baca, of unknown parents, a resident of the Puesto de San Francisco de Vernalillo.

Witnesses: Francisco Gutierres, 30, more or less; José Gallegos, 25, both natives of this realm and residents of the outpost of San Francisco de Bernalillo; José Aragón, 30, more of less, resident of this outpost; Bartolomé Gutierres, 36, a resident of this outpost.

Finding no impediment, the couple was married and veiled on 31 Dec 1725 by Fry Domingo de Araos with witnesses: Diego Antonio Montoya and his wife María Magdalena Baca.
